What eventually happen to a rabbit which has sore hocks?

As title says.

If not treated they just get worse, there was a centre in Holland I think posted a while ago asking for help with a really bad case, the whole food was a massive scabby lump. They can get infected if the skin is broken, I'm only guessing here but could that lead to a larger infection and loss of limb?

gets infected if not treated loose limb is further not treated at all you die from infection

I think you are talking about Fiver or Alice. I think Alice's were getting a bit better, not sure about Fiver's, was just about to ask Vegan's what was happening.
