Just out of interest...(asparagus)

Does anyone have a bunny who will eat asparagus?

I thought Ludo would eat anything, but I was mistaken.

I'd even cut it all up nicely and washed it all (as I always do)

One sniff, one bite and then he ran over to me with a miserable look on his face as if to say 'please Mummy, put something nice in my bowl'. So I gave up and went and gave him Waitrose wild rocket instead!

Don't blame him ! Horrible horrible stuff, I refuse to go anywhere near it so have never fed it to the buns, just the thought of it :mrgreen:

Mine eat anything.... except asparagus, never had a single bun that would eat it.

I've tried it a few times and nobunny has ever eaten it.

Are they allowed it? It's an allium and I didn't think buns could have alliums.

It's on my safe foods list, I can't remember where I got that list from though. It's on there as safe but high in calcium.

He did eat some before deciding it was revolting and he's still here with no dodgy poos (and he gets dodgy poos just by LOOKING at bad food!) so I'd imagine it's safe!

Rabbits are strange, I'd have thought asparagus tasted a lot nicer than thyme!
