I had a long haired female hamster a similar colour to him and she ended up with a gingery blonde bum!
And my white and ginger male ended up white.

He's gorgeous, I miss having a syrian :love:

I've never known a hamster to change colour! He's always had a browny tinge but was def more grey (hence the name!) but he's looking more gingery brown now! I think he's recently matured tho as his balls have got bigger and his scent glands have become more obvious! Maybe that has something to do with it. Oh well I still love him :lol:
 
All my Syrians have changed colour slightly over time as they matured.my current one (Sox) was black as a baby,he is now a year old and is chocolate brown with a white tummy streak and white ankle socks.:D

How strange! Maybe I just didn't notice as a child when I last had hamsters :lol: Won't name my next one after its colour then :lol:
