Is loxicam exactly the same as metacam?

I thought it was but because Doughnut stopped the nystatin, her symptoms returned. I thought once I got some more she would be OK again, a week on she's still making noises, wet and a poopy bum. The only other thing I can think of is that my local vets gave me loxicom instead of metacam which I get from my specialist. Just wondering if this would make a difference, I just thought it was another brand name for the same thing. Both are the dog versions.

I think its the same? Ziggy had loxicom after his accident but the vet reffered to it as metacam :?

I think I'm clutching at straws. She is fed up, keeps flicking her back legs as hates being wet.

I'm going back next week with her. Just can't see an end to it at the moment.
