Mama Doe
One year ago today I brought home my 2 little balls of fluff. Bluebell was just 4 months old and Bramble was a couple of days off 2 months old. At first they were timid and quiet (that didn't last long!) and they were kept on sawdust with a bowlful of pellets to eat everyday, and perhaps a handful of hay.
Then I joined RU.
I learned about how bad sawdust is for them, how pellets should be limited and hay should be a huge part of their diet. I learned what veg/fruit is too sugary, what herbs they can eat as well as what wild flowers they would enjoy. I learned about having them spayed to avoid uterine cancer and making sure their vacs are done every year.
This new way of life, combined with daily handling and trips inside the kitchen to explore, made them the lovely bunnies they are today. Ok, well Bramble can be a madam but she's still loving really :lol:
So thanks RU, for all your help
