Sand

Is kiddies playing sand safe for rabbits to dig in? Thinking of a cleaner alternative to soil

Just fishing for ideas for when I do the shed up on the garden for my bun for summer. Was thinking a sand pit with sand and toys and stuff. Anyone else got this?

Unfortunately my indoor bun has a bad reaction and allergic to chinchilla sand, so if your buns start sneezing, I would stop using it.

Might not use it with Angel then, she is quite an allergic bunny.

I use a mix of play sand and soil, and always keep it damp so it doesn't get dusty

What soil do you use?
And is it in storage boxes or soemthing?

I'd like to give it a go, it'd be loevly to see them dig about
Sorry Chloe I''ve stolen your thread

Cheers guys :thumb: seen loads of pictures out there of buns sat in sand pits but just thought I'd check :thumb:
