Has there been any announcement or does anybody know? Im being asked to book up a few dates in September, but I dont want to miss this so really need to know when it is?!

Thank you! How funny they just posted it a few hours after my post  and it's at Woodgreen animal shelter again! I'll defo be going it was a great day and I learnt loads! The best bit was being able to speak to the specialist vets a quiz them about a few things I needed answers to!!

It is pricey! For owners stream it's about £60 if you are a RWAF member and £90 if you're not!

I definitely want to go this year. :thumb:

I booked for last year's conference, but had to miss it as I had a poorly bun who needed round the clock care so I couldn't go. :(

Oh what's it like? I'd love to learn more. I always question my specialist when I see him about other stuff.

It wasnt last year! There is a small coffee sandwich shop on site!

Catherine and I thought this too, then after sitting in the coffee shop and buying our own food we wandered into the big arena thing and there was a lunch all laid out in this alcove bit. They were just clearing it all up, but we assumed it had been for the conference and we hadn't realised. Actually I might tell Ros this, because maybe they will advertise it a bit better this time :)

What happens at the conference? It sounds interesting but it's quite a way for me and also the expense. Are there lots of fluffies around or do specialists just talk about them? Sorry if my questions are stupid.:(

I've only been to one - last year's - so can only tell you about that one, but it is an all day thing. There are sessions all day, on different bunny-related topics (health, diet, behaviour etc, and parsnipbun on here did one on growing a bunny garden). The sessions are lead by specialists. Some of the slots have a choice, so you choose which session you want to attend.

There is also a massive arena which has stands and stalls advertising and selling things, and giving out bunny info. There weren't any furries in the actual sessions, but the Runaround people were there in the arena with a massive set-up with some buns inside, and you can look around the Wood Green complex so there are loads of bunnies and other animals to see in the rescue centre.

I thought it was a really good day. I learned a lot, but it was also nice just to see so many other bunny-mad people :)

Hi, somebody has just alerted me to this thread. Happy to answer, but please if you need responses pm me or email hq@rabbitwelfare.co.uk because we aren't able to monitor the forum.

The owners' conference will be at Wood Green in Godmanchester again this year. This is the first time we have gone to the same venue twice in a row and next year it will be elsewhere. The date is 6th July.

Also for the first time the vets' conference will be separate, at the Langford Clinic, Bristol Vet School, on 23rd November

It wasnt last year! There is a small coffee sandwich shop on site!

Food was included in the price last year. It was in the area adjacent to the display stands. It was for all delegates and speakers. I'm sorry you didn't find it and went to the coffee bar instead.

It will be included in the price again this year. You will be asked to specify, as usual, any dietary preferences, such as food allergies, vegetarian/vegan diet, etc
