Is it a bad idea to get proffessional photos taken of the bunnies? I can never photograph them well, and I'd really like some nice photos that I can keep but I don't know if it would be too stressful for them.

Lovely Idea

I am a photographer, mainly specialising in Newborn babies and family portraits.

I don't think a studio set up with flash lights is a good idea ... would be terrifying for the wee buns.

You could get some lovely shots using natural light, using lovely props like giant teacups, baskets etc.

I see you are in surrey, I am based in Beckenham not sure I can be of any help.

Must admit I haven't done a bunnie photoshoot before but would love the challenge.

I think it would be good if there was someone near you who could come to your home/garden and take photos of them. There's bound to be someone close on here. I'd love to take some of them if I was closer.

I've done photos of mine just on the sofa with a white sheet before now...

It was only for five to ten minutes so they were quite relaxed and as it was at home no car ride which they hate. Mischa was so relaxed he flopped!

I had a couple of Missy and my cat Gizmo done in a photoshoot with my dad... It went alright and they didn't seem to mind too much. The photographer I went to is a friend and shoots a fair few pets so maybe look for someone who has experience with this? I was given a pet photoshoot as a gift for Christmas last year so im going to take both Leo and Missy for another shoot soon :thumb:

Elena - those are BEAUTIFUL photos

Sorry I forgot to check back on this thread. Elena your photos are lovely, they look fantastic. I think the problem I have is I'm not very good at photography and the bunnies move a lot  Also my camera's not great. I'll just keep trying, hopefully eventually I will get a good photo

I used some equipment for those, a flashgun aimed at the ceiling and editing software to remove creases and lighten the background. But it can be done at home with minimal upheaval for the bunnies. :)

After reading all this I'm going to give it a go! Any tips for location or how to keep them in one place?
