Snapseed is amazing :lol: The iPhone does take good pics but when I'm outdoors, the scene always looks so much better than how it comes out so Snapseed just makes it look like I see it! If that makes sense... I'd love a digital SLR but can't afford one :( Spent £300 odd on a 35ml SLR years ago but never use it now cos of the cost of developing!

I'm guilty of that too. I live just a short walk from the beach and until today, I haven't been since September. Your pics prompted me to go, and I had such a lovely walk with my dogs today.

I know I really enjoy it when I get there and I love to see the dogs happy (although I think Alfie would prefer to stay at home! As long as we all stayed with him of course :roll:) Riley is absolutely in his element there, as u can prob tell from the pics! Every time I go I think il make a regular thing of it!

Editing is part of taking pics tbh. Scene shots and artistic shots need bits tweaked on them to make it how you like. :) I use "gimp" but that's mainly for upping the contrast and lightening pics etc.

You should try selling your camera. You might get a bit for it :) You don't always need a big flash (pardon the pun) camera to get good piccies!

Oh you should look at swapping! Lots of people are still desperate for a film version SLR, I know personally I'd love my Dad's one, even as a treat, not using it all the time.

But if you look at swapping or selling there's a lot of very reasonably priced DSLR'S out there just now, you could get quite a bit off a new one if you sold the film one you have just now.
 
Iv kept meaning to look into selling it, didn't really think it'd be worth it but I know there r still people that like film cameras. Might try a proper camera shop :)
