Pudding- found as a 14 year old stray lying on a road. My niece picked her up and she ended up with us. She was 1.7 kgs, matted and very weak. We found out she was hyperthyroid and after lots of nursing and getting her meds right she is now a kilo heavier. She is also in early stages of renal failure and gets acupuncture for sponylosis and arthritis.
Fluffy- came a couple of years ago aged 12' with untreated hyperthyroidism. We struggled long and hard to control her thyroid but eventually she had a thyroidectomy, however she is still hyperthyroid and we are still struggling to control it. This has lead to heart failure, because Fluffy was badly neglected she gets very stressed when being groomed p, so she needs to be clipped regularly instead.
Sooty- came to us when his owner died, she was going to have him PTS before she passed but was persuaded to let him come here, he's my pillow warmer.
Urchin- came as a 4 month old feral kitten with a broken pelvis and a hole in his head. We are sure there is a level of brain damage and he will never go outside because of this.
Kass- most recent addition, he was going to be PTS for peeing inappropriately. We took the lid off his litter tray and had no problems since.
