Hot waterbottle idea if you dont have snugglesafes!

I had my ferret Star spayed yesterday had to keep her warm (she is in an outhouse but still a little chilly for after a major op!) so I got a sturdy cardboard box tray (fruit one I guess) then put the hot water bottle in the bottom and then put the house in the box, it fits very snug so the ferrets can't dig it out and get to the hottie bottie.
This morning both ferrets were very warm and happy and their bed felt so snug.

Sounds like a good idea! Would love to see a pic!

That's a good idea, rabbits would have to be supervised though because they could very easily chew through the cardboard and start having a go at the water bottle
