Those of you that grow grass for your rabbits, which grass do you grow? I asked Julie's vet who mentioned orchard grass seed but I can't find that in a small quantity.
Julie doesn't like the wheat grass that I can buy preseeded here . I want to just grow something in a pot for her to munch on in addition to her normal hay..

There's also a 50g bag of mixed grass seed in our shop for £1.60 will last a heck of a long time

I haven't seen Timothy is a small bag either. That is such a cheap price. I will continue to look for it on line. Our local stores seem to just carry turf grasses.

Timothy or wheat?
I am currently trying to grow some Timothy, got it for 99p off of Ebay but you only get a little pouch of them.

I did find a 2 oz bag on Amazon for $8.25. I am going to order that.
How are you growing it? What are you putting in the pot for soil?

here's our timothy seeds - they're £1.60
there's about 2000 seeds per gram and we sell in 50g bags plus 90p postage and a free bag of borage seeds

I grow this seed in my barrows and barrels along with clover dandelion etc :thumb::thumb:
