Aw, Helen what a lovely troupe you have there!
This is my Jenna...originally Jenny, but officially known as the Beanie Baby since she's so much tinier than my last dog, she was being kept in the cab of the truck that belonged to the woman at the rescue because "she did not get on with her senior dog in the house".
She was very thin and small when we got her, barely topped 5 pounds, now she's a whopping 8!
She was supposed to be my daughter's dog but took to me and never looked back. She is friendly with all the family but I'm the one she sleeps with, looks to for food, goes for walks with, etc.
Before and after a trim:
Only a month after losing my soul dog, Shadow (you can see his face in my signature), I had been certain I wanted no more dogs. Then we agreed my daughter could have one, we found her on the site's webpage and it was decided before I could spout an objection. I was mostly worried how bathroom functions would be carried out in winter when it's -40 F! (Turns out she's a natural ice road trucker this one.)
My heart was shattered after losing Shadow, and yet this wee mite has crept into it, picked the pieces up and made a nice nest of them for herself. When her time comes I will be beyond hope. And she will be my last dog.
We also have this little minx:
Her name is Ebon. She is supposedly part husky, part Dachshund and part Pomeranian...yeah I have no idea how those three got together either. :?
8 weeks old in these shots:
She is now a little more than a year old and all terror!
She has chosen my daughter and OH as her favorite people....I just bring the food.
Sorry all theses appear to be huge, I don't know how to resize them.
