clipping teeth is bad right?

Cuddles will require his teeth clipped about every four weeks as they are growing at quite a fast rate.

Ideally, Cuddles will need an owner with experience of rabbits that will be quite happy to monitor his teeth and to have them trimmed regularly.

Before I go sending them an e-mail do folk have any references which I can use? I have the following for the RWAF

I'm hoping they mean he needs dentals rather than clipping....if they are saying that then they probably already are doing it which can cause massive damage to the teeth :-(

Aye it's the use of the words "clipped" and "trimming" that are worrying me. I guess if it's as bad as I think it is it won't hurt for others that feel the same way to e-mail their thoughts too.

Well he's VERY cute. I don't really know what to do but just wanted to say he's cute.:love::love::thumb:

The word clipping does tend to get used by people even when they technically mean burring, I guess because burring isn't as self explanatory if you're not in the know :)

I wonder if they used the term "clipping" because his incisors are the problem?
I'm more worried that they need doing every 4 weeks. If he needs a GA each time, he'll run out of veins very quickly, & need a very good vet indeed.
