Staying inside after dental

weedug

Mama Doe
Fluff has been at the vet today for a dental and some x-rays.

Should he be kept indoors overnight, since he had a general anaesthetic, or would it be fine to put him in his shed? There is a tubular heater in there that I could put on for him.

I'd keep him in for one night. We always do with Scarlet at this time of year and put her out the next day. She always feels very cold after a GA for a dental and in the summer we have put her straight back out but not at this time of year. We would however have her in a room with the heating off so she's warmer than outside, but not up at 20C.

 thanks.

He isn't too amused at being in, but I can keep a closer eye on him, and it will save me worrying about how cold it is getting overnight.
