Rabbit facial expressions

Mama Doe
I was having a chat with my friend about this today, about how buns really do pull all sort of faces and really got an array of expressions.
So I though it would be great to get photos on here on here of the 12 faces of bunnies

I give you....guilty:

One of the strangest faces I have seen a rabbit make was when Sophie (rabbit) first saw Honeybun's overgrown front teeth just prior to her having them clipped. That was 14 years ago and I can still see her look of horror.

Matilda's 'you just took me to the vet, how dare you' face

I wouldn't know where to start with Spenser's facial expressions. Very few of them are complimentary to anyone other than himself, I fear...

Oh god, I wish I'd got a picture of my two doing the "it wasn't me" face. They were huddled together trying to break into the cupboard, and when I went out and said "what are you two doing?" they stood perfectly still hoping I'd walk away. When I didn't, Alfie came over to distract me while Harriet kept digging

Be really careful with that indoor cage, I've heard of quite a few bunnies jumping on top of things like that and breaking their legs when they get stuck

I've only really seen three expressions on my rabbits faces, their normal 'neutral' face, their 'please pick me up/feed me face' and a strange face Harley pulls at times, where he tilts his head and looks like he's in deep thought

ETA: I forgot to add the 'I'm on the toilet face', that look of concentration on their faces, and the annoyance at having their privacy disrupted

Not to worry, they don't have a cage anymore. Switched to those NIC panels. The only thing left for Moses to jump on is their hutch.
