Today my beautiful bunny, Oscar, died, suddenly. He became ill on Friday, and died today. We made several visits to a vet over the weekend, and "Bunny Sue" found a specialist vet near Runcorn. She met me there as the surgery opened today, and had already registered my bunny for me. I arrived sobbing, knowing in my heart, he was dying. The most amazing vet saw him, and diagnosed instantly what was wrong. I left Oscar in their superb care, but as I was having a coffee with Sue, shortly after, I got the dreaded call. Bunny Sue was amazing and drove me straight back (a long trek) and was with me the entire time.
I'm still crying hours later, but know my little guy is in no more pain. There will be people on here who know Bunny Sue, and I just want to say, she is so kind and caring. I'm also upset as his partner is now alone.
Oscar had multiple lymphoma. He became ill Friday morning, died Monday morning. I could almost see the lumps growing, they doubled in size overnight.
