Lint roller vs brush vs comb

Brush: Bun hates it. Freaks out. Picks up minimal fur.

Comb: Bun seems to ignore it. Only picks up a few strands of fur and sometimes nothing at all.

Lint roller: Picks up the most fur. Bun ignores it a bit when eating but once in a while notices it and runs away from it, but only runs a bit.

Which method does everyone use to prevent their bun from digesting its own fur?

There's also a hairdresser nearby that specialises in animal grooming. £30 each time to get my bun's hair and nails trimmed.

Have you got a long-haired bunny that needs regular brushing, only if you need to groom your rabbit a lot of us use damp hands so you could try that if you are'nt getting much satisfaction from the other methods.

I go outside and spend about half an hour plucking all the loose fur out with my hands, regular fur doesn't come out unless you were to pull ridiculously hard to just keep gently pulling everywhere till you're not getting much else out, you may have to repeat it a few days later or may not. Furminators work great on mine but if yours don't like being brushed then they wont like that. I often get piles of fur bigger than the rabbit, it's quite scary to think that they could of ingested all of that, and a bit odd to see that much has come off of them even though they don't look that much different. It's even easier with rabbits who have moult lines as you can see where to pull

If they're not good at sitting still you'll need to try restrain them, maybe hold them tight and close to you or get someone else to keep them still, but a little bit of stress is no where near as bad as a digestive system clogged with hai

I've actually recently started using a lint roller and it works really well. You just have to make sure its not too sticky when you rip off another sheet (you can just rub it a bit against some other material and it will become less sticky) or else it will practically rip a chunk out of your bunnies fur. But otherwise, it works really well and my bunny actually enjoys it! I still use a wide comb brush made of rubber to get rid of fur but my bunny doesn't sit still as much when I use it.
My bunny's already a year old and i've had him for about 8 months and he still doesn't like being picked up AT ALL!!!! So this makes grooming him even harder!
