Looking for a rabbit savvy vet.

Bunny-love

Young Bun
Hi,

I'm looking for a new vet for my bunnies, can anyone recommend one in the southlanarkshire area? Preferably round about Lanark, Carluke or biggar apif anyone knows those areas.

Thanks.

And I'm also looking for one in the Haslemere/Farnham/Petersfield area of Surrey/Hants if anyone can recommend one? Have used Woodland Vets in Midhurst for other pets, but I don't think they have any real rabbit experts there. Thanks!

I'm guessing snodland in Kent is too far.

I took Doughnut to a rabbit specialist there when she was ill and was referred on to them. The lady I saw was absolutely brilliant. Knows everything about rabbits and has some form of qualification that only another person in England has in relation to exotic pets.

Who was this out of interest?

It's Kate from Sandyhole Vets in Snodland.

It's quite a bit further for me but well worth going if you are really concerned about your rabbit. I asked her so many questions and she was happy to answer anything.

On the website it says:

"Kate holds a Certificate of Advanced Veterinary Practice with modules in Zoological Medicine, reptiles, small mammals and exotic birds. She is now one of only 2 Veterinary Surgeons in the UK with this qualification."

I would always go back to her if I was really worried.

There is the ark veterinary clinic they have branches in holytown and coatbridge. Madonna is excellant. Its a bit further than Lanark though, but spose it depends where in southlanarkshire you live.

Thanks - Kent is a bit too far for routine stuff but useful to know in case of anything really tricky. Appreciate your help.
