Just made... *PICS ADDED*

...a loft bed for Heidi, poor girl has been spreading her hay all over the place and sleeping in her litter tray :roll: Since she started using the main bit as her toilet, but still not using the bed as a bed, she is really short on space now so iv built her a loft bed and am going to rearrange her hutch later to try and give her more useable space. Was going to wait til iv bonded her and Dash so the hutch seems 'new' but I can't keep looking at her sleeping in her litter Summer & Skye love their loft bed so I'm hoping Heidi will love hers too Although I'm pretty sure Summer sleeps in the rack :roll: She seems to jump down from there most mornings and Skye jumps down from the loft bed! Unless she just goes for an early morning munch while she waits for brekkie :lol:

Well it doesnt look that great as i didn't have time to paint etc and iv removed the divider so there's a gap in the Lino and stuff that needs sorting but fingers crossed this will be a better set up for her. Not sure if the loft is too high tho, not giving much space up there, may need to chop a bit off the height...

So here's the loft bed installed, with the litter tray underneath...

Got a few diff hays today, a couple of Vitacraft ones - dandelion and chamomile, and a small bag of meadow hay that just looked lovely and green and stalky! Was only £1.99 so thought I might aswell give it a try! So Heidi has bits of diff hay everywhere! I hope she likes the new layout, if only she could talk...

Just looked out and Heidi wasnt in sight so I got excited and rushed out with the torch and where was she?? The litter tray! Of course she was :roll: :lol:

Thanks :wave: Have been fretting if iv done the right thing taking the divider out in this cold but the hutch is covered and iv had a box stiffed with hay in bed for last couple wks and she's not used it, she's usually in the open bit even on cold nights :? My plan was to add a bed box extension but funds won't stretch that far this month

Its just a rast bedside table from ikea! It had 2 shelves but I only used 1. I just nailed a strip on the front to keep the hay in :wave:
