A little slice of apple helps the medicine go down :)

Poor Dash seems to be getting used to his trips to the vets! He was such a good boy, got teeth thoroughly checked (had a good chew on the vets torch ) and there's no problems there. He's got a 7 day course of Baytril. The vet didn't seem too concerned, I think it is precautionary more than anything so it doesn't 'kick in' and get worse but actually he's been much better. I picked up some 'immunity boost' treats and a bag of Timothy hay for him too :thumb:
I gave him his 1st dose when we got home (apparently it doesn't taste as nice as metacam ) so he got a little treat of apple to take the taste away...

Aw he's lovely. My Sam hated having to take Baytril so we syringed it on a bit of banana and he was none the wiser.

I'm hoping he takes it ok as my sis is looking after them for a couple of days now, he's never had banana so don't know if it would tempt him or not! I gave the other 3 some the other day while he was having his neuter and they all sniffed it and turned their noses up but I left them with them and they'd disappeared later on
