moulting?

Peterbunny

Hi,

Is it normal for a outdoor bunny to be moulting at this time of the year?? Its not falling out in clumps but I've noticed quite a few strands of fur on his fleece blanket over the last week or so and today I have handled him with slightly damp hands and I was left with a fair few strands on my hands?

Surely he needs all his fur to keep warm?!

Thanks

Donny isn't visibly moulting but he has awful moult lines so must be a bit!.. Can't really tell with Lola as she is mainly white! Poppy has just finished.. she's indoor though.

I have a pair of indoor buns, who live in a room with the window open 24/7 due to one of them having respiratory conditions.

Biscuit, the male, is having a rather epic moult atm, so he's reacting to the change in outdoor temp as the weather has been noticably colder in the past couple of weeks.

two of my outdoor buns are moulting though it's nowhere near as heavy as it was a few months ago - they just require a little comb now and again
