P&D live outside in a two story 5ft hutch with 6ft run attatched...they are happy enough out there but I bought them a shed...Iv never got round to getting the shed sorted but thats being finnished this week as someone is coming to do it for me!
We are adopting Lucky and hope from BARC this weekend cant wait to bring them home They are going into a shed aswell (they are going to be fairly big buns!)
Then this morning on my local rescue/bunny boarding a lady posted offering her trio of french lops (mum, son and daughter) free to a good home as they are living in a two story 6ft hutch with no run and she has no time for them anymore/free ranging isnt safe as there is foxes in her garden the rescue is full and doesnt have the space to take a trio that large...
Now hubby has said that I can put them into a 6x8ft shed with a 6ft attached avairy but i cant have three sheds :? so Lucky and hope will go into a shed regardless but the toss up is that I can either rehome the trio into a 6x8 shed with 6ft attatched avairy but P&D will have to stay in their hutch and run :? or i can put P&D into a shed and not rehome the trio and just hope they go to a good home
Time isnt an issue...iv worked out insurance costs etc. The buck is neutered...the girls not so i need to factor that in...they are due vaccs this week and she is going to get them done...she sounds like she loves the buns but genuinly doesnt have time for them anymore I buy hay by the bale so thats not an issue...I am trying to source a local stockist of a&p pellets/cheaper option than SS.
What would you do?
ETA all buns are friendly but the younger two dont like to be handled... mum is cinamon colour, the daughter is agouti and the son is solid black
