Angora

Can anyone help with a bit of info on Angora's?

We may be taking on an angora who was left behind after his family moved and left him and his wife bun behind, unfortunately, when she was spayed they found her to be full of tumours so didn't bring her around, He is a very friendly bun, but am slightly worried about taking him on if he is going to be too high maintenance (sounds horrible, but have 23 buns, a new born baby, a 4yo boy, 3 horses and 4 acres to maintain with them, 4 chooks, 2 dogs and 3 cats  )

He has been clipped due to matting, and I know he will need help with his bottom,

Anyone shed some more light?

Guessing he is over 2 but not entirely sure.

Thanks

There is no denying it Angoras are high maintenance.
I rescued one who was in a shocking state and had to be clipped right down.
They do need regular grooming and regular clipping or trimming.... I swear Dylans hair grows as I look at him.
My scissors are forever going blunt too.... as its not hair Im cutting.... its wool
