Making soft furnishings neutral?

I'm starting to get things prepared for rebonding my boys now they are 7 weeks post neuter. They have both been absolutely everywhere at some point, including on the sofa, bed and carpets. But how do I neutralise these soft furnishings? Thank you x

Thorough Hoover and then lightly spay febreeze around? That's what I wold do, but make sure it's a few days before buns come back so they don't get strong chemical smells from the febreeze!

Bedding ect I'd wash with a strong smelling fabric softener to mask any smells in the mattress ect.

Well that's what I'd do anyway!!!
