A 4 month old Syrian Hammy :D

Poor baby is very scared and was making horrible squeeky noises :( He is also very overweight.

Have put him into his cage now to settle in. Good news is he hasn't bitten anyone yet!
 
Awwww he's gorgeous. :love::love::love:

We adopted Ruby as a baby as she'd (apparently) bitten and she screamed all the time; it's very common for youngsters, especially if they haven't been well socialised already, but they do grow out of it I'm sure Russell will soon learn you're nothing to be scared of. :love::love:
 
He's been fine since we put him in his cage :D

Though he hasn't slept, too busy exploring! :love:
 
Daughters just gone to get Russell up to start some taming training and a get fit routine! :lol::lol:
 
Ohhhh I wish my bf would let me have a syrian :( my dwarfies are currently sleeping.. Phoebe has squished herself right against the glass to have a nap.. Hammy was always up and about :(

He is super cute :love:

He is lovely, though quite timid. I'm sure he will come round, given lots of time and love :D
