I just had poppets culture test results back and she has Bordatella, were happy the medication she is on is working, but it got me thinking.

If you have any GPs you need to keep them well away from Poppet. Bordetella frequently causes fatalities in GPs (pneumonia)

They are both gram negative coccobacillus bacteria. Pasteurella is anaerobic, bordatella is aerobic, you need an antibiotic that is effective against both.
Bordatella is the one that causes whooping cough in people.

ill see about keeping the Guineapigs outside, they were going to come in for winter, but ill do something with their hutch too keep them snuggly warm.
