Course u want one haha I tried to tell myself I didn't want one either! :lol: I was about to say er... Doh toilet roll tubes?! But then I realised u must mean the litter?! It's wood pellet litter, I use it for rabbits litter trays, iv checked and it's safe for hammies :thumb: May not use it all over floor when I get him in his new set up. But since I didn't know where he would choose as his toilet I put it everywhere :lol:

Flying saucers are pretty cheap on eBay, I got mine for £17. He will need the large for chinchillas :wave:

Have a look on hamster central forum :thumb:

I wouldn't use that litter all over when he's in his cage/tank because its quite hard on their feet. I don't think it would cause bumble foot but I don't think it would be very comfortable :p also hamsters are diggers and substrate is always good when it's nice and deep for them :) megazorb is worth the money :wave:

Thanks :wave: Seems like he's pretty friendly too, was only his 2nd night but he kept coming right upto the front of the carrier while I was taking pics! Also took food from me :D

Yeah, I had carefresh before but it was so expensive to give a good depth for digging. I spent £14 on the megazorb (£7 but delivery was £7) and its lasting me ages for 2 hamsters. The both have very it deep in their cage and tank but I haven't had to clean them out yet because its fine. They are both litter trained and use either their bed or sand baths which are easy to clean, rather than the whole thing! :p
