New Kit
...because Blossom is actually a boy!
I rescued 'her' at 10 weeks old and obviously the rescue got it wrong. Took 'her' in for the check up before the spay and the vet turned 'her' over and out popped boy parts.
So Blossom has been castrated instead and is back home looking a tad sleepy but otherwise ok. Also munching on a bit of hay which is good.
Not sure what to do about the name though...at 6 months old it seems a bit unfair to make him live his life with such a girly name. We were considering Bailey when we first got him which would be ok, although I'm tempted by Bo as one of the nicknames I've been using has been FloBo (shortening of the other nickname Flossy Blossy lol). Other option would be shortening Blossom to Bloss instead. Hmm, what do you think?
