how is best to dry large bundles of forage?

I air dry mine in the garage, don't take long.

is it not too cold? :wave: I've washed it in the bath and it's now tyed in bundles

You have to make sure it's properly dry before you try to erm,,, dry it
Does that make any sense at all??

What i mean is, has every last drop of the water you used to dry it gone? If not when you hang it up it will more than likely go mouldy:shock:

I never wash my forage, and i make sure the stuff I pick for drying is picked about midday on a day that has had no rain, so it's not got dew or any excess moisture on it

Will check it over this evening but I think it's totally dry!

I washed it because, even though we picked it from WAAAAY above dog pee height I didn't want to risk it :lol:

I pop mine in the airing cupboard:shock: The smaller stuff I lay in trays in the bottom on the cupboard, larger things I hang from the shelf.
