Exotics vet needed in north west

ripminnie

Wise Old Thumper
Does anyone know of a good one? My vet said normally he would refer to Liverpool Uni, but they don't have an exotics vet there at the moment! :? I want the best for Digby, but hoping not to have to travel too far, as he gets VERY stressed :(

isn't there one in chorlton? i think people here have recommended... and there's a guest house nearby... abbey comes to mind...

What about Molly varGA?

Cheshire, sorry my geography in that part of the world is not good. But if you google her name the practice comes up x

Thanks guys, my vet is consulting Ashleigh vets anyway, and Molly Varga looks great too, but neither of these has a CT scan facility :(

Some vets have CT scanners that travel around I think. Did you try Petmedics in worsley? I have used their emergency service for rabbits a few times.

Molly Varga now works in Holmes Chapel at Cheshire Pets.

I think that Chester Gates (by Costco Chester which is just past Cheshire Oaks) has a CT scanner, not sure if they have an exotics specialist there but I have dealt with a vet at Cranmore (next door) which is part of Chester Gates called Richard and he seemed very knowledgable and interested in rabbits. He trained at Liverpool I believe and speaks very highly of Molly.

I always use beech house vets in Radcliffe, which is in between bury and Bolton. They have quite a detailed website if you want to have a look

Perhaps a little too far but could you visit Frances Harcourt-Brown in Harrogate?

She is one of only five bunny vets in the UK whom I would trust.
