Archie has finally arrived!! He arrived this morning, and he's the most adorable thing I have every seen! I love him already!!
For those that don't know, Archie is hopefully going to go on to become a hearing dog, we are doing the job of puppy socialiser, and will look after him for the first year of his life, and teach him all the basics as well as getting him used to places dogs aren't usually allowed like shops, cafes, etc. Before he goes on to further training, and then hopefully on to be paired with a deaf person!
He's 8 weeks old at the moment, but he a very stocky puppy so he looks quite chubby! Our puppy supervisor said he'll probably always look chubby even if he's fed the right amounts, and that we have to make sure we teach him good manners because he'll be a very big strong boy when he's older!
Anyway, here are some pictures of the gorgeous boy himself!!
With his toy!
Just thought I'd mention, the red bit you can see on the end of his tail in some pictures is just a mark they used to tell him apart from his litter mates.
