Can rabbits eat runner beans

Spenser loves the leaves from the runner bean plants, but I don't give him the full-grown beans. He gets an occasional small one. I think I've read somewhere that they are too high in protein, but not that sure. :?

Thanks, I will ask for the leaves instead for bunny I can eat the beans, :D
