He is a lovely colour. I have not seen a Chin that colour before.
When we went to collect Kat and Babydarling from the rescue 9 years ago come September I was surprised to meet Babydarling. I had never seen a beige chinchilla either. I don't know if they are rarer than the grey chinchillas, as you never see beige ones in pet shops.
Although Sparklefairy has a white one with black ears. There are quite a few varieties or breeds. Black velvet, chocolate to name a few but never seen one in real life.
