homemade hutches, who's made one?

Pretty much self explanatory, has anyone built there own hutch??
what type of wood did you use??

I have made a single 6ft hutch and a triple 7ft hutch. I used 7mm tongue and groove for the walls and 9mm USB board for the roof and floor. The frame, i think, was28 x 33mm kiln dried pine.

Thank you! Those are the boarding hutches so each has its own cleaning materials and having the dustpans look lee that saves me getting confused!:lol:

and i need to make three!

do u think it was cheaper to make them rather than buy? (i'm in aus so hutches or materials might not be the same price, but still might be roughly the same, and there are no 6ft hutches here - well not in my area anyway and nor have i seen any on ebay or anything)

ill just make some like your single story one, and possibly a little bit smaller if i'm short on cash, but only smaller as they will be going inside the play house i am currently building just for an enclosed area so the hutches won't be shut
