she caught it, it won't stop bleeding ive got hold of her and firmly putting pressure on it, ive got no syptic pencil stuff in, any other tips?

From what I've heard, nails can bleed a lot. But it'll stop eventually.

Cornflour if you have any

If not just keep the pressure on, sometimes for at least 5 minutes.

thanks jane i said to dad thought i had heard about cornflower, it seems to be easing off now, me mummy looks lovely covered in blood streaks :lol:

Glad it is easing off. I was going to suggest cornstarch as that works great. I wonder if cornstarch is the same as cornflour.
