Took Sootie to the vets on Tuesday after noticing he was not eating and not moving much:(, he is only 11 weeks old and was touch and go and has been a very stressful and worrying week, I feel so shattered today, He has survived against all odds and last night his tummy relaxed and he managed to poo :D, this morning he has started eating again:love: , he still looks very sad and is very wobbly on his legs but we are over the worst and im hopeing today will make the world of difference. Thank goodness the people who live next door to us have a very overgrown garden with lots of treats for my rabbits, went around at 6.00am this morning in my dressing gown to tempt Sootie but he is worth it :love::love:

You need to be very careful about introducing new food to a such a young bunny. Did the vet mention diet? Does he eat plenty of hay - most important food. Glad he seems to be recovering.
 
He has started eating hay again last night, but he was not eating anything so the vet told me to try anything that would tempt him to eat, next doors garden has lots of dandelain leafs and long grasses, we have also tryed him with carrot tops and some herbs, he also has had some pear, I would not try anything with out the vets go ahead, the breeder also gave me adult pellets to introduce slowly, but the vets say as they are mini lops can stay on the baby pellets for the rest of their life. The breader that I got the rabbits off said not to give them greens until they were older but the vets disagree. As I'm new to all this I am finding it hard with conflicking advice. But I am so pleased he is on the mend, I am offering fresh hay often, he is staying at the vets again today.
 
I would steer clear of fruit just now because the sugar in it will upset his tummy. If introducing greens and he has never had them before it must be done really slowly. The first time he has something make it one leaf or about a teaspoon 's worth. After a few days, double the amount and see how he does. Any runny poo in his house means its too much and you need to go back a step.

I hope that he is fine now and his tummy settles down.
