Treacle, out 8.5 year old dwarf lop started peeing a huge amount last week and was constantly wet. The second day we took her to the vet who examined her and treated for cystitis, saying if no better to blood test. She was no better this week so she had blood tests today, but they came back clear. The vet then felt a mass in her abdomen and the concern is either a stone or a tumour. She is back tomorrow for x-rays and if something is found we will operate. Of course if it is a tumour it will not be fair to bring her round if nothing can be done- even if we can remove the stone or tumour, it's a big opnfor an old lady.
Please think of her tomorrow, she is a wonderfully gentle rabbit who sits on the knees of disabled children and snuggles up to them, everybody loves her.
