Bowed front legs

R.P.B.G.G

Mama Doe
Does anyone else have a bun with bowed legs?

Rio is an 18month old unneutered buck, he came into us on the 9th with a doe following a marriage split,
The day they came in we gave their claws a trim, they was a good 2-3inches long.

Rio has been free ranging supervised every day since he came here, and we have noticed her has a deformity in his front legs.

Ive never come across such deformed legs before, it doesn't effect him and his movement, he is still happy healthy and loves his exercise.

Anyone have any experience?

Bowed which way?

I have buns here at the sanctuary with front legs bowed inwards like a bulldog (Pudding) and outwards like a seal (Meg).

Pudding manages to live a totally normal life and moves around normally like any other rabbit.

Meg on the other hand needs keeping on deep vetbed to avoid getting sores on the part of her feet she walks on (her ankle where her dew claws are located). Otherwise she seems very happy and content. I try not to let her put on weight though, in case it affects her mobility (she's a big rabbit, probably a New Zealand White or NZ cross)

The are bowed out like a seal,

He is rather large too, at a guess, he doesn't weigh much less than George and blue and they are 3.4
Will watch his feet for sores, he has been here just over a week
