rabbits and chocolate.

My rabbit was outside running around and someone spilled chocolate frosting on the ground and my rabbit got to it. I am not sure how much she ate and I am not sure what to do, she at the moment has four little kits, should I put her back with her little ones or keep an eye on her in the house, and if she starts to get sick what can I do that is cost effective?

I would put her back with her babies and just keep an eye on her, but NO, rabbits should never have chocolate! Hopefully she will be ok if she hasn't eaten too much of it, but if she starts looking poorly/not eating I would get her to a vet immediately, which is not cost-effective, but is the correct thing to do, as rabbit's digestive systems are very delicate and can be upset very easily.
