I notice a chain of pet shops provides incorrect information in store.
They advise that rabbits should live alone unless you buy two same sex litter mates at the same time.
That rabbits can live with a guinea pig providing they are brought at the same time
I have written to their head office and they informed me that the information they provide is correct and that all their staff are very knowledgeable about animal care. However they did change the information online but are still providing it in their stores both verbally and on the instore leaflets and tickets on the animal enclosures.
They have mixed up different litters in the pet shop enclosures too I would have thought this was not good practice.
I feel really sad that they are telling people that they should keep rabbits on their own.
