mineral blocks?

Pet shop tried to sell me one of those mineral block things you hang on side of hutch. my feeling is proper feed should mean this is unnecessary and not good idea but not sure... am I right or wrong?

it's not a bad thing to have. your rabbit will lick/nibble it if he feels the need. personally i like them

No they should be getting all the minerals they need from their diet.
