identify the plant (think its a type of rose..

i was wondering if someone could confirm this is a type of rose and if they would know if it's bunny safe?

where i walk my dog it is great for foraging. long grasses, nettles, dandelions, blackberry bushes and apple trees. i also keep looking at these bushes. the leaves look like rose leaves and the stems have thorns but the flower isn't like your typical rose so i have always left them.
there are loads there now though and if they are edible i'd like to make the most of it.

Rosa canina ( very apt that you see it whilst walking dog)

Totally edible apart from hips which the rabbits will usually just leave.
