A few pics from Sammy's special day! (baby thread!)

From last wknd for anyone interested! Despite the rain we had a lovely family gathering for Sammy's Naming Day and a very posh afternoon tea
The venue (where we got married almost exactly 2 years ago to the day)
This was at the end hence mummy the last to leave trailing balloons!
African Scops Owl - too wet to fly for the falcons so the falconer brought this little lady, Alice, whom he hand reared from an egg to meet everyone (no touching allowed of course)


Had no idea that Owl's eyes are fixed in the socket so they have to swivel their head completely to look around. :shock:
