Checking Stephen's breathing!!
Never used it on a 'real' patient but after watching a video on Snuffles as Stevie has had a bout of sneezing I got out the stethescope! (that's lots of S's!!)
Apparently all is fine, very quiet, bilateral air entry, no crackles or wheezes and a nice normal respiratory rate. I'm very proud of him, he came and sat with me and let me do it with almost no fuss at all.
I knew those three years of nurse training weren't a complete waste, maybe I could be a veterinary nurse instead.
