Young Bun
I wasnt sure what forum to put this in, hope its okay here!
I picked up my new rabbit Star this weekend. The lady I got her from had decided to rehome her after going back to full time work. I have owned a house rabbit before but it was a good four years or so back.
The previous owner told me she got Star from Pets at Home, but she doesnt know how old Star is. Around a year she thinks. Star hasnt had any injections or been neutered. She was being fed on tesco value rabbit food and hay.
As soon as I got her, I went to pets at home and picked up rabbit nuggets, timothy hay, a litter tray for her cage, a hay rack, mineral stone, rabbit tunnel, alfalfa bales and some rabbit chew toys. Does she need anything else? Vitamin drops maybe?
I am adding her to my pet insurance today and will be booking her in at the vet to have claws trimmed, teeth checked, injections and sort out neutering. I cant remember if rabbits need flea etc treated though?
She is a lovely rabbit though and I am very about her! I had forgotton just how nice it is to have a rabbit around. She was obviously very much loved as she is very sociable, already doing binkies around the lounge and nudging for attention. I have attached a photo, not sure what type of rabbit she is!
