you can just see Charlies back legs poking out at the back!!!

Bless them! Are they related?

no - Parsley Piert is 'son of Parsley' and one of the 6 accidental babies - but he was thrown out of the family bunny group for being a 'nippy' bunny -they all decided they had had enough of him when they were all about 4 months old and started to nip him back and isolate him. We took him out when it became obvious they did not want him (the rest of the bunny family are still together apart from another female who went head to head with a sister for prime position)

Charlie came in as a pair with a female (Lola) he was bullying very very badly - the then owner forced us not to split them despite our and our vets advice (we were fostering and its a long story . . . ) but then one day the worm turned and in a scuffle Charlies tail was ripped so badly it had to be removed.

We took over the two buns (Lola and Charlie) from the then owner - split them immediately - and after a while re-partnered Charlie with Parsley Piert - they are now the happiest loved up buns you could imagine.

I think there is a moral there - but not sure what it is?????

(actually one moral is - if you ask a rabbity person to foster your buns for you, and they advice you they have behavioural issues and should be split, then listen to them and do what they advice before your bun looses his tail - on the other hand as in this case the original owner refused to pay the vets fees of several hundred pounds it was me that was left to learn 'never take on a foster bun from an owner who refuses to act on your advice')

That's a lovely picture. at the owners for not listening to you when it sounds very obvious there were problems in the bond. Sorry you got stuck with the bill.
