Eyesight agression?

I thought Poppet has just been a mardy poo, but it seems although she is actually being aggressive when approached by me.
Which is strange in itself as im used to approaching Partially sighted rabbits and have always approached by letting them know im there and slowly moving my hand near her allowing her to sniff it first..
Poppet doesnt even sniff it she just lunges as if i slapped her with a soggy dead fish.:?

Shes a rex and i know they have eye issues is there anything i should look for though determine this?
(Ulfric had an obvious eye trauma so we knew he had a blind eye.)

I have her booked in for her Jab tomorrow but if this is better looked at by a specialist id rather know soon so i can reschedule and have jabs done with the specialist too.. ?

This sounds exactly the same problem I'm having with Roo my rew.

Roo's eyesight isn't brilliant, he scans a lot. He doesn't bump into things, so he can see to some extent, but it's hard to know just how well.

He is a very friendly lad, but he has started lunging at me if I put my hand in front of him. I know they can't see right in front of their nose anyway, but he'll still lunge if my hand is a foot or so away. I always let him know I'm there by talking to him, but it seems to make no difference. I've found that if I talk to him and bring my hand downwards onto his head, rather than forwards towards his nose and face, and then rub his head and nose he is OK and he relaxes.

I'm going to take Roo to see my vet to have his eyes checked out, just to make sure that they are still healthy. I'll be interested to hear what your vet says about it.

I think im getting her to the vet for saturday if they can fit me in she has always been so sweet and still is at times, i know the vet cant do anything about it as such but im interested to know :?.
shall update when i know, cant say i have ever seen her scanning though
