Was out yesterday evening for a meal for my birthday and thankfully got back at about 10pm walked round house to bunny area which is walled and gated and found one gate wide open:shock::shock: I thought thats it I will never find my bunny but could not believe my eyes when he was sat there in his paved area nowhere near the open gate. He seemed ill at ease until I got the gate shut so don't think he had even been through it.
What had happened was that a piece of wood had come loose and slipped so stopping the bolt from going across enough to withstand a wind that had blown up and the wind had slowly rattled the gate open.
I was totally amazed to see him still there, he is a timid bunny in new circumstances so that has been in my favour.
