Conflicting advice re HAWTHORN

AFAIK they can eat the leaves and stalks but not the berries or flowers.

Hmmm, not sure about that one :? I've never snipped any with flowers on :? Be interested to learn either way!

I only give the leaves and stalk, not flowers or berries.

on most sites where it lists safe flowers, trees and shrubs for rabbits, hawthorn is included with no mention of excluding the flowers
however, if in doubt don't feed. I do not give flowers or berries..no need, plenty for them to eat with leaves and twigs..and lots of other forage at the moment

That's right for the time of year :thumb:
No thorns because it's young tender stuff. No berries as this is what is produced from the flowers, just like fruit trees produce blossom and then fruit
